FOREVER LOVED, FOREVER MISSED, FOREVER 6 — THE FINAL BIKE RIDE OF HARRISON GLYNNE JONES

FOREVER LOVED, FOREVER MISSED, FOREVER 6 — THE FINAL BIKE RIDE OF HARRISON GLYNNE JONES
SIX-YEAR-OLD HARRISON GLYNNE JONES HAD JUST ASKED TO GO FOR A BIKE RIDE. MINUTES LATER, HIS FAMILY’S WORLD WAS CHANGED FOREVER.
Six-year-old Harrison Glynne Jones had simply wanted to go for a bike ride.
It was an ordinary request from a little boy who loved being outside.
But on Thursday evening, October 1, a few moments after Harrison went out near his home in Llanfairfechan, North Wales, tragedy unfolded.
The six-year-old was struck by a white Ford Transit Tipper on Mill Road at around 5 p.m.
Despite the efforts of emergency services, Harrison was pronounced dead at the scene.
Now, as his family tries to come to terms with an unimaginable loss, they are determined that people remember Harrison not for the circumstances of his death, but for the lively little boy he was.
“A PERSONALITY THAT COULD LIGHT UP A ROOM”
Harrison was described by his family as a “cheeky chappy, full of character with a personality that could light up a room.”
Those words have become central to the tributes being shared in his memory.
His family said he was loved more deeply than words could ever express.
His parents, Daryl Jones and Kayleigh Bolton, and his two older sisters, Sienna, 9, and Eira, 16, have been left facing the devastating reality of losing a child and brother.
A fundraising page set up to support the family described the loss as something that had changed their world forever.
“There are no words” to describe the heartbreak and devastation now facing Harrison’s parents, sisters and wider family, the fundraiser said.
The family said a child should never be taken from those who love him so suddenly.
HE HAD JUST ASKED TO RIDE HIS BIKE
According to reports, Harrison had asked his parents if he could go out on his bike after dinner.
He went outside near the family home in Llanfairfechan.
Shortly afterwards, the collision occurred on Mill Road.
North Wales Police said officers were called shortly after 5 p.m. following reports involving a vehicle and a child.
The vehicle involved was a white Ford Transit Tipper.
Emergency services attended, but Harrison sadly could not be saved.
The incident has left the local community mourning a young boy whose life had barely begun.
A POLICE INVESTIGATION IS UNDERWAY
A 39-year-old local man was arrested on suspicion of driving offences following the collision.
He has since been released under investigation while police enquiries continue.
North Wales Police’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit is now examining exactly what happened.
Detective Inspector Tim Evans said officers were appealing to anyone who had been in the area around Pen y Bryn Road and Mill Road at approximately 5 p.m. to come forward.
Police are particularly seeking private CCTV, doorbell-camera recordings and dashcam footage that may have captured something relevant.
Officers have stressed that even footage that appears insignificant could potentially help investigators establish what happened.
The force has also asked people not to speculate about the circumstances of the collision or share material online while the investigation continues.
A COMMUNITY RALLYING AROUND HIS FAMILY
As Harrison’s loved ones begin preparing to say goodbye, people across the community have rallied around his parents.
A fundraiser was launched to help with funeral and memorial expenses, as well as household costs while his parents take time away from work to grieve.
Within days, donations had passed the original target and continued climbing.
People who never knew Harrison personally have also contributed, offering messages of support to a family facing an unimaginable loss.
The fundraising campaign has become another reminder of how deeply the little boy’s story has touched people across North Wales.
REMEMBERING HARRISON
For his family, there will always be countless memories that existed before that devastating evening.
The little boy with a huge personality.
The cheeky child who could brighten a room.
The six-year-old who simply wanted to get on his bike.
Those are the memories his loved ones want to hold onto.
Not the police tape.
Not the road.
Not the heartbreaking aftermath.
But Harrison.
The little boy who was deeply loved.
“FOREVER LOVED, FOREVER MISSED, FOREVER 6”
At the end of the family’s tribute is a simple sentence that says everything they are struggling to put into words:
“Forever loved, forever missed, forever 6.”
Harrison will never get to grow older.
He will never celebrate another birthday.
He will never take another bike ride.
But his family will continue carrying the memories of the little boy he was.
His life may have been tragically short, but the love surrounding him was enormous.
And as the investigation continues, one thing remains beyond doubt:
Harrison Glynne Jones was more than the child at the centre of a tragic collision.
He was a son.
A brother.
A beloved little boy.
And to the people who loved him most, he will always be six.
Forever loved.
Forever missed.
Forever 6.
