“FOREVER LOVED, FOREVER MISSED, FOREVER 6” — HARRISON’S FINAL BIKE RIDE LEAVES FAMILY HEARTBROKEN
Harrison Glynne Jones was just six when he asked to go for a bike ride after dinner. Minutes later, a collision outside his family home in North Wales changed everything. Now, his loved ones are asking the world to remember the lively little boy behind the heartbreaking headlines.
A family in Llanfairfechan, North Wales, is facing an unimaginable loss after six-year-old Harrison Glynne Jones died following a collision involving a van near his home on October 1, 2026.
According to a fundraising appeal organised by a relative, Harrison had asked to go for a bike ride after dinner. What began as an ordinary family evening ended in a tragedy that has left his parents, sisters and wider family grieving.
A LITTLE BOY WHO COULD LIGHT UP A ROOM
Harrison’s family want people to remember him for the personality he brought into their lives, rather than simply for the circumstances surrounding his passing.
In the fundraising appeal, he was described as a “cheeky chappy, full of character with a personality that could light up a room.”
The family said there were no words to describe the heartbreak facing his parents and sisters. Their tribute reflected the deep love they had for a little boy whose life had only just begun.
For those closest to Harrison, he was not just a name in the news. He was a beloved son and brother, woven into the ordinary moments and memories that make up family life.
THE COLLISION THAT CHANGED EVERYTHING
North Wales Police said emergency services were called to Mill Road in Llanfairfechan shortly after 5 p.m. on Thursday, October 1, following a collision involving a child and a white Ford Transit tipper van.
Harrison was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police launched an investigation into the circumstances of the collision. A 39-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of driving offences and later released under investigation while enquiries continued. His arrest does not establish responsibility for what happened.
Investigators appealed for witnesses and footage from people who were in the area around Mill Road and Pen y Bryn Road at approximately 5 p.m.
A COMMUNITY RALLIES AROUND HIS FAMILY
A fundraising appeal was launched to help Harrison’s parents with funeral and memorial expenses, household bills and other essential costs while they take time away from work to grieve.
The appeal has also given people a way to show support for a family facing a loss that no parent should have to endure.
Although donations can help ease practical pressures, they cannot replace the little boy his family are missing.
“FOREVER LOVED, FOREVER MISSED, FOREVER 6”
Those words, shared by Harrison’s family, capture the message they want people to carry forward.
He was only six years old. There should have been more birthdays, more family adventures and countless ordinary evenings still to come.
As the investigation continues, his loved ones are holding on to the memories of the happy, spirited child they knew and loved.
Harrison’s life was tragically short, but the love surrounding him is clear in the words his family chose to share.
Forever loved. Forever missed. Forever 6.
