A DRAMATIC FAST-FOOD CAR PARK DELIVERY IN AUSTRALIA
An Australian couple ended up with a birth story they could never have planned after their baby boy arrived in a Hungry Jack’s car park before they could reach the hospital. Tiana Keane, 24, and her partner, Josh Armstrong, had originally prepared for a peaceful water birth at a local birth center. However, labor progressed far faster than anticipated.

Soon after Tiana’s waters broke, her contractions escalated rapidly. Within minutes, she realized her body was already pushing and told Josh they would not make it to the birth center in time. Realizing the urgency, Josh quickly pulled into the nearest safe location—a Hungry Jack’s parking lot. In the back seat of their vehicle, Tiana safely gave birth to their son, Reid, after just two pushes.
Despite the chaotic setting, both mother and newborn were healthy. Tiana shared that although the delivery was intense and painful, it felt smoother and more positive than her first child’s birth, which had suffered from medical complications. Following the arrival, the family proceeded to the birth center, where medical staff confirmed both were doing well, allowing them to return home just hours later. Reid weighed 7 pounds 3 ounces and has continued to thrive.

The unusual birth location quickly became a cherished family memory. Hungry Jack’s staff checked on the couple during the delivery and later gifted them a hamper with baby items, chocolates, and a teddy bear. Adding a humorous twist, Tiana and Josh originally met while working at KFC, meaning their journey began at one fast-food chain and expanded outside another.
