💔 THREE TEENAGERS ARE BEING SOUGHT. A 15-YEAR-OLD BOY IS DEAD. AND A FATHER WHO BROUGHT HIS SON FROM GHANA TO AMERICA FOR A BETTER FUTURE IS NOW BEGGING FOR JUSTICE — AS QUESTIONS GROW ABOUT A TROUBLING SCHOOL INCIDENT JUST DAYS BEFORE THE SHOOTING.

BRONX, NEW YORK — November 2, 2026. Police are searching for three teenage males in connection with the fatal shooting of 15-year-old Javits Frimpong, whose life ended during what should have been an ordinary walk to school.

The teenager was shot near Crotona Park on October 29, only about a year after moving to the United States from Ghana to live with his father.

Surveillance footage captured the frightening moments surrounding the attack, including a person dressed in dark clothing fleeing the area.

Investigators say three teenage males were seen leaving the scene.

But as police work to identify those responsible, Javits’ grieving father has revealed another troubling detail.

Just days before his son’s death, two students were reportedly suspended following bullying complaints involving Javits.

Whether those incidents were connected to the shooting remains unknown.

Three Teenagers Sought After Fatal Morning Shooting

The attack occurred shortly before 9:30 a.m. Thursday near East 171st Street and Crotona Place in the Bronx’s Claremont neighborhood.

According to the NYPD, Javits suffered a gunshot wound to his abdomen.

Officers responding to the scene immediately transported him to St. Barnabas Hospital in a patrol vehicle.

Despite emergency medical efforts, he was pronounced dead.

Police began searching for three males believed to be approximately 16 to 18 years old.

The individuals were reportedly last seen wearing black clothing and blue surgical masks while running south toward Crotona Park.

Investigators have appealed to the public for information.

As of the latest confirmed reports, no arrests had been announced.

Surveillance Video Captures a Desperate Escape

Video obtained by news outlets showed Javits running through the neighborhood as another individual followed behind him.

According to ABC7 New York, the teenager managed to run approximately one block after being shot before collapsing.

Other footage captured masked individuals fleeing the area.

For investigators, these recordings could help reconstruct the sequence of events and identify the people involved.

But the footage has not publicly established why Javits was targeted.

Police have not announced a confirmed motive.

And no one has been convicted or formally identified in publicly available reports as the person who fired the fatal shot.
