A mother and her two children were found dead inside a Las Vegas apartment — and the man accused of killing them allegedly told investigators he “blacked out” after confronting his girlfriend about an alleged affair.

Nohani Flores Osuna, 41, and her two children, Maiya Deleon Flores, 16, and Noah Morales Flores, 7, were found dead inside an apartment in the Las Vegas area on September 1.

Their deaths have now been ruled homicides.

The Clark County Coroner’s Office identified the three victims after police responded to the apartment complex following a call from 29-year-old Juan Carlos Orona, who told authorities he had harmed his girlfriend and her children.

Orona had reportedly gone to a Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department substation with his father and brother and said he wanted to turn himself in.

Police later entered the apartment and discovered the three victims.

According to the arrest report cited by multiple news outlets, Orona told investigators that he had confronted Nohani about an alleged relationship with her former boyfriend.

He claimed that after the confrontation, he experienced what he described as a “blackout.”

Orona allegedly told investigators that when he regained awareness, he was holding a 9mm handgun and found Nohani and her two children on the floor.

Investigators recovered 10 spent 9mm cartridge casings at the scene. Orona did not deny firing the weapon, but reportedly told detectives that he could not remember exactly what happened during the alleged blackout.

THREE LIVES LOST

The coroner determined that Nohani and Maiya died from multiple gunshot wounds.

Noah, just 7 years old, died from a gunshot wound to the head.

All three deaths were classified as homicides.

Orona also had a gunshot wound to his abdomen when he surrendered.

He was taken to a hospital for treatment before being booked into the Clark County Detention Center.

Authorities have not established publicly whether his injury was self-inflicted.
