“LILL, I LOVE YOU SO SO MUCH” — HEARTBROKEN MUM MAKES DESPERATE PLEA AS MISSING GIRL, 13, IS SEEN ON BUS AND IN MANCHESTER

A heartbroken mother has made an emotional plea for her 13-year-old daughter to come home as police continue a major search for the missing girl.

Lillia Lloyd Walton, from Bolton, Greater Manchester, has been missing since Friday, September 11, 2026, with detectives urgently piecing together her movements through CCTV footage.

Her mother, Jessica, has made a direct appeal to her daughter, saying she simply wants to know that Lillia is safe.

LILLIA LEFT HOME AND DID NOT RETURN

Lillia left her family home in Bolton at around 8 p.m. on Friday, September 11, Greater Manchester Police said.

When she failed to return, her family reported her missing.

Police immediately began extensive enquiries, reviewing CCTV footage and tracing possible sightings across Greater Manchester.

One of the most important confirmed sightings came the following day.

At around 1:50 p.m. on Saturday, September 12, CCTV showed Lillia at the Trafford Centre, where police believe she boarded the 247 bus towards Altrincham.

However, investigators do not know how long she remained on the bus or where she got off.

That unanswered question has become a major focus of the investigation.

POLICE FIND ANOTHER SIGHTING IN MANCHESTER

Investigators have since identified another possible movement.

CCTV footage showed Lillia at a McDonald’s on Market Street in Piccadilly Gardens at approximately 8:20 p.m. on Sunday, September 13.

The sighting provides detectives with another confirmed point in her movements, but police are still trying to establish where she went afterward and who, if anyone, she may have been with.

Officers are appealing to anyone who may have seen Lillia around Piccadilly Gardens, the Trafford Centre, on the 247 bus route or elsewhere in Manchester to come forward.

“MY HEART IS BREAKING WITHOUT YOU”

In an emotional appeal read publicly by Chief Superintendent Helen Critchley, Lillia’s mother spoke directly to her daughter.

“Lill, I love you so so much,” Jessica said.

“My heart is breaking without you here. I need to know you are safe. We all need you back home safe and well.”

Police also addressed Lillia directly.

Chief Superintendent Critchley said that if the teenager saw the appeal, she should know that her family loved and missed her.

She emphasized that Lillia was not in trouble and that her family simply wanted her to come home safely.

WHAT LILLIA LOOKS LIKE

Police describe Lillia as a slim white girl, approximately 5ft 5in tall, with long light-brown hair and clear-frame glasses.

At the last confirmed sighting, she was wearing:

• A black zip-up hooded jacket
• Light-blue wide-leg or baggy jeans
• A black Nike backpack

Greater Manchester Police are asking anyone with CCTV, Ring doorbell or dashcam footage to check recordings that could help establish Lillia’s movements.

THE SEARCH CONTINUES

Police have established a dedicated public portal for information relating to Lillia’s disappearance.

Investigators are particularly interested in hearing from people who travelled on the 247 bus around the time Lillia boarded it, anyone who saw her in Piccadilly Gardens and anyone who may have had contact or conversations with her since she left home.

The force has said officers are continuing to work to locate her and bring her home safely.

For Jessica and the rest of Lillia’s family, the uncertainty has now stretched on for days.

They know where she was seen — first in Manchester, then boarding a bus towards Altrincham, and later in Piccadilly Gardens.

But they still do not know where their daughter is now.

And as the search continues, her mother has one simple message for her:

Please come home.
