According to reports about the emergency call, a friend contacted 911 at approximately 1:51 p.m., saying Panettiere was unconscious and apparently in cardiac arrest inside a Greenville apartment.

 Paramedics arrived with advanced life-support equipment and attempted to revive her at the scene. Despite their efforts, she was pronounced dead inside the apartment.

WHAT HAPPENED INSIDE THE APARTMENT?

According to police sources cited by TMZ, two ambulances arrived at the building, but neither transported a patient.

Investigators also reportedly found a Narcan device on a mattress inside the apartment. Authorities have not confirmed who it was intended for, whether it was administered, or whether it had any connection to Panettiere’s death.

Reports also indicate that Brian Hickerson, Panettiere’s on-and-off partner, was inside the apartment with his brother.

 The presence of Narcan does not by itself establish that a drug overdose occurred, nor does it indicate that a crime took place.

AUTOPSY FOUND NO OBVIOUS TRAUMA

An autopsy reportedly conducted the following day found no signs of physical trauma.

The official cause of death has not yet been determined, and authorities have not publicly indicated that they currently have evidence pointing to homicide.
