🚨 MASKED TEENS STORMED A MASSACHUSETTS McDONALD’S — THEN AN EMPLOYEE WAS ATTACKED BEHIND THE COUNTER

What began as a large gathering of teenagers quickly turned into a violent scene inside a McDonald’s in Lynn, Massachusetts.

On Friday night, Sept. 18, a large group of young people reportedly left a nearby football game and headed to the McDonald’s on Boston Street.

Video shared on social media showed a crowd flooding into the restaurant, with several people wearing face coverings and backpacks.

Then some of them went behind the counter.

A young employee was surrounded and attacked as other members of the group crowded around and filmed what was happening. Video reviewed by local news outlets showed the worker being knocked to the ground and repeatedly struck.

The employee was hurt but declined to go to the hospital, according to NBC Boston.

Police eventually responded with roughly a dozen officers, and the crowd dispersed.

As the video spread online, investigators began working to identify the people involved.

By Wednesday, detectives with the Lynn Police Department’s Youth Services Unit had identified four teenagers allegedly involved in the incident and obtained arrest warrants.

All four were taken into custody.

Because they are minors, authorities have not released their names. They were transported to juvenile detention facilities while awaiting court proceedings.

The charges are serious.

Police said the four teens face charges including assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, assault and battery, disorderly conduct, disturbing the peace, trespassing, affray and civil-rights violation with injury.

But investigators say the case is not over.

Police are continuing to identify other people who may have participated in the incident.

The McDonald’s attack was also one of two incidents involving large groups of juveniles that Lynn police responded to over the same weekend.

The incident has prompted concern from city officials.

Lynn Mayor Jared Nicholson said he was deeply concerned about the incidents involving young people and said the city would continue addressing violence while also working on support, structure and opportunities for local youth.

For the employee who was attacked, however, the situation was much more immediate.

He was simply working inside a fast-food restaurant when a large group entered.

Within moments, the crowd had moved behind the counter, and he found himself at the center of a violent confrontation.

Now, four teenagers are facing criminal allegations, while police continue searching for others who may have been involved.

The video may have made the incident visible to the public.

But investigators are still trying to determine exactly who was there — and how many people could ultimately face consequences.
