A FAMILY’S JOURNEY OF LOVE AND HOPE IN THE FACE OF UNCERTAINTY

A FAMILY’S JOURNEY OF LOVE AND HOPE IN THE FACE OF UNCERTAINTY
At 30 years old, Robbie Pollock from Paisley, Scotland, was building a bright future with his partner, Lauren Haldane. Together, they were raising their two young daughters and Lauren’s son, looking forward to watching their children grow and spending decades together.

In early 2026, severe headaches and deteriorating symptoms led to Robbie’s collapse and an emergency hospitalization. On February 22, 2026, tests revealed a stage 4 brain tumour that medical professionals described as incurable. The devastating diagnosis brought immediate brain surgery and cancer treatment, upending the young family’s lives and confronting them with profound emotional and financial challenges.
Despite the difficult road ahead, Robbie and Lauren remain focused on creating meaningful family memories and reaching a long-cherished milestone: marriage. A dedicated fundraising campaign was launched to help them host their dream wedding on December 28 at The Corinthian, surrounding them with love from family and friends. With their youngest daughter just five months old when the campaign began, the occasion represents much more than a celebration—it is a precious moment of connection during an extraordinary ordeal.

While Robbie’s family actively explores further treatment options, they choose to focus on love rather than a specific timeline. Their hopes are simple: securing more time together, treasuring everyday moments with their children, and celebrating their bond as husband and wife. Though the diagnosis altered the future they originally envisioned, it has only strengthened the strength, resilience, and unity of the family they continue to build together.
