FOUR-YEAR-OLD GIRL DIES AFTER BEING FOUND UNRESPONSIVE IN WATER-FILLED BIN AT GEORGIA HOME

A four-year-old Georgia girl has died after she was found unresponsive inside a bin filled with water and fish at her family home, leaving her parents facing an unimaginable loss.

Jayde Wooten was found inside the bathroom of her family’s home in Macon, Georgia, on September 19.

Her mother, Jorden, discovered the little girl after waking from a nap, according to reports cited by The Irish Sun.

Jayde was pulled from the water and rushed for emergency medical treatment, but she was later pronounced dead.

An investigation into the circumstances surrounding her death is ongoing.

FATHER FRANTICALLY SEARCHED FOR HIS DAUGHTER

According to the report, Jayde’s father, Maleek, had just returned home when he realized he could not find his daughter in her bedroom.

He alerted his wife, who told police that she had fallen asleep while Jayde was eating in the kitchen.

Maleek said he began frantically searching for his daughter.

Then he heard his wife scream.

When he rushed back inside, he found Jayde upside down in a bin that had been filled with water and fish.

He immediately pulled his daughter from the container and carried her outside in an effort to get help.

NEIGHBORS TRIED TO SAVE HER

A neighbor told police that she and another nearby resident took turns performing CPR after Jayde was brought outside.

Emergency responders were called at approximately 2 p.m. on September 19.

Officers arrived at the scene and attempted to provide assistance before firefighters and paramedics took over.

Jayde was then transported to a medical facility, where she was later pronounced dead.

The incident happened in Macon, Georgia, roughly 80 miles south of Atlanta.

Authorities have not publicly established exactly how Jayde ended up inside the water-filled container.
