MEXICAN INFLUENCER CINDY TAMEZ FOUND DEAD WITH HER FAMILY AFTER DISTURBING FINAL SOCIAL MEDIA POST

A Mexican TikTok influencer and mother of three has been found dead alongside her young family in a heartbreaking case that has left a community searching for answers.

Cinthia Abigail Tamez Rivera, known online as Cindy Tamez, was found dead with her youngest son inside a Jeep in Montemorelos, Nuevo León, Mexico, on September 30.

Her partner, Leodegario Moya, and her two older sons were later found at the family home nearby.

Authorities are investigating the deaths as a possible homicide-suicide, but officials have stressed that the investigation remains open as forensic evidence, security footage and other evidence are examined.

A FAMILY FOUND IN TWO LOCATIONS

According to Mexican authorities and local reports, Cindy and her youngest son were discovered inside a Jeep at around 9:40 a.m. on September 30.

The vehicle was found in the Los Fresnos area of Montemorelos.

After learning that Cindy had other children, investigators went to the family residence approximately three blocks away.

There, authorities found her partner and her two older sons.

The five victims were identified as Cindy, Leodegario, and the three children.

CINDY WAS KNOWN FOR HER LIFE ONLINE

Before the tragedy, Cindy had built a substantial following on TikTok.

PEOPLE reported that the 34-year-old creator had more than 71,000 followers, while The Sun reported a following of more than 74,000.

Her videos showed parts of her everyday life, family moments, fashion, vehicles and social gatherings.

To her followers, she appeared to be documenting an active family life online — making the news of her death even more shocking.

A DISTURBING FINAL POST

Attention has also turned to a social-media post Cindy shared only hours before the family was discovered.

In the video, she appeared inside a moving vehicle alongside a message referring to her “nasty side” and revenge.

The post has since drawn widespread attention, but authorities have not established that the message explains what happened to the family.

Investigators are examining the family’s final hours, including reports of a gathering at the home and a possible argument before the deaths.

WHAT INVESTIGATORS BELIEVE SO FAR

Nuevo León’s Fiscalía has said its leading theory is that Cindy was responsible for the deaths of her partner and three children before her own death.

Investigators have said preliminary ballistic evidence connects the two locations and that a firearm recovered during the investigation is being examined.

Security-camera footage, witness accounts, forensic examinations and other evidence are also being reviewed to reconstruct the sequence of events.

However, authorities continue to describe this as an investigative hypothesis, rather than a final determination.

According to reports, the teenager hid after hearing the disturbance and later sought help.

The teenager was reportedly placed under the protection of state authorities while the investigation continues.
