“BRING TOM JONES BACK!” — OVER 70,000 FANS REPORTEDLY BACK CAMPAIGN TO RESTORE HIS VOICE UK SEAT

Supporters are rallying behind the legendary singer after his departure from The Voice UK, hoping their petition will persuade ITV to reconsider.

For many fans, Sir Tom Jones was more than just a coach on The Voice UK — he was part of the show’s identity. Now, supporters are making their feelings known, with a petition reportedly attracting more than 70,000 signatures calling for the legendary singer to return.

The campaign has sparked renewed discussion among viewers who believe Tom’s experience, straightforward advice and unmistakable voice brought something special to the programme.

A RED CHAIR FANS AREN’T READY TO GIVE UP

Throughout his time on the show, Tom became a familiar face to audiences, helping aspiring singers develop their talent while sharing his decades of experience in the music industry.

For supporters, his departure represents the end of an era. Many have taken to social media to express their disappointment and urge ITV to listen to the people who have followed the programme over the years.

The petition has also drawn attention to the strong connection between Tom and the show’s audience — a relationship fans say should not be overlooked.

WILL THE CAMPAIGN CHANGE ITV’S MIND?

Although the petition has generated attention, there is no guarantee that ITV will reverse its decision. A high signature count can demonstrate public support, but it does not automatically mean a television network will change its plans.

Fans nevertheless hope their message will reach the people responsible for shaping the show’s future.

For now, the debate continues: should the programme bring back a familiar favourite, or is it time to give a new coaching line-up the opportunity to win over viewers?

Sir Tom Jones has enjoyed a remarkable career spanning generations, and his supporters clearly want to see more of him in that famous red chair.
