BREAKING: NEW CCTV SHOWS NOAH WOODS’ LAST KNOWN WHEREABOUTS AS POLICE CORDON OFF LAKE

New CCTV footage has revealed the last known whereabouts of three-year-old Noah Woods, as police dramatically expanded their search around a lake in Brantham, Suffolk.

Noah disappeared on the afternoon of September 15, 2026, after becoming separated from a relative near the Merriam Close playground.

According to Suffolk Police, CCTV captured Noah at approximately 2:37 p.m., shortly before he was seen running down an alleyway beside the playground toward a nearby new-build housing estate.

POLICE TURN THEIR ATTENTION TO NEARBY LAKE

As the search intensified, officers cordoned off Decoy Pond, a fishing lake located close to the playground.

Specialist divers from the Metropolitan Police joined local emergency teams in searching the water, while police, firefighters, search-and-rescue teams, helicopters and members of the public searched the surrounding area.

More than 1,000 volunteers joined the massive effort, with around 1,300 members of the public ultimately assisting alongside emergency services.

Police had urged members of the public not to enter dangerous areas such as open water or railway lines, stressing that specialist teams were needed for those locations.

 A DEVASTATING DISCOVERY

On Wednesday, September 16, Suffolk Police confirmed that specialist dive teams had recovered the body of a child from Decoy Pond.

At the time of the announcement, formal identification had not yet taken place, although Noah’s family had been informed.

Superintendent Tom Pearse said the discovery was being treated as “not suspicious but unexplained”, with the coroner notified.

The development came after an extraordinary community search that saw people travelling from outside the area to help locate the little boy.

NOAH’S FAMILY ASKS FOR PRIVACY

Noah was described by police as non-verbal and partially deaf, and he was undergoing an autism assessment.

His disappearance prompted an enormous response from the local community, with volunteers searching streets, gardens and surrounding areas while emergency crews worked through the night.

Police have thanked everyone who helped but have now asked the public to give Noah’s family time, space and privacy following the latest development.

The investigation remains ongoing, and authorities have said the circumstances surrounding what happened to Noah are still being examined.

The CCTV images released by police may now form an important part of the timeline investigators are working to establish.
