Third Victim of Alleged DoorDash Attack Breaks Down on Stand

The courtroom grew emotional as a third alleged victim took the witness stand in the DoorDash attack case, struggling to hold back tears while recounting what she says happened. Her testimony added another deeply troubling account to a case that has already captured widespread attention.

The witness became visibly overwhelmed as she described the events surrounding the alleged attack. Her emotional reaction underscored the lasting impact the incident has had on those who say they were caught up in the violence.

The case involves Joseph Killins, who was recently convicted of multiple charges stemming from an April 2023 attack on a DoorDash delivery driver. Prosecutors said the driver was kidnapped and sexually assaulted while making a food delivery. During the confrontation that followed, prosecutors also alleged that another woman was shot. Killins denied key allegations and offered a different account of what happened.

After hearing the evidence, jurors deliberated for less than 30 minutes before finding Killins guilty on all charges, including armed kidnapping, sexual battery and attempted first-degree murder. He faces a potential life sentence.

The emotional testimony from the latest witness brought renewed attention to the human toll of the case, as the courtroom heard directly from people whose lives were dramatically affected by the alleged attacks.
