Chris “Block” Gordon, a well-known drag racer and star of Street Outlaws: Fastest in America, has died at age 40 following a crash during a race in southern Ohio.

The accident occurred on the evening of August 22, 2026, at KD Motorsports Park, where Gordon was competing when his vehicle crashed during the race.
Rescue personnel and emergency medical crews responded to the scene and attempted to provide lifesaving treatment. Gordon was ultimately pronounced dead at the scene.
Gordon was the owner of Block Motorsports and became known to a wider audience through his appearances on the Discovery Channel series Street Outlaws: Fastest in America.
