Lauryn ‘Pumpkin’ Efird claims that her daughter was denied admission to a private school because of her OnlyFans content.

In a post shared on her Facebook over the weekend, the Here Comes Honey Boo Boo alum, 26, explained that she’d been trying to get her daughter Ella, 8, into a local private school and had received an email from the school stating that they’d like to meet with her for a parent meeting. Efird said she “cleared my entire schedule” and brought her daughter along with her to the campus.

However, when they arrived, she claims she was told that the school had denied her daughter admission because Efird’s “social media does not align with their school.” Efird explained that she knows her social media content is not “going to be for everyone,” and tha

Efird said she has a problem with the way the school handled the situation. She noted she already went through the application process, paid the application fees, visited the school, and was prepared to spend nearly $10,000 for the school year.

“And honestly, I believe Ella deserved better than to be sitting outside in the front office, completely unaware that she was essentially being rejected from a school she was so excited to attend because of her mother’s social media presence,” wrote Efird. “At the very least, the situation could have been handled with more transparency and consideration.”

Efird went on to clarify that she was not upset that someone doesn’t “agree with my career,” but rather that her own personal choices were being held against her daughter.

PEOPLE has gone out to the school for comment and did not immediately hear back.

Earlier this week, Efird told TMZ she made $10,000 the day she announced she joined OnlyFans, and now makes upward of $15,000 each day.

Efird — who charges $9.99 for a monthly subscription to her content — said that the figure is a new high she hit the previous week, during which she earned between $14,000 and $15,000 daily.

She also opened up about the “financial stability” the decision to join OnlyFans has brought the four children she shares with ex-husband Josh Efird. She also said that her family — including Alana “Honey Boo Boo” Thompson and Mama June Shannon — have been supportive of the endeavor, which she called a “huge deal” for her.
